He was predeceased by: his parents, William Hubert and Ida Long Butner; and his siblings, Violet and Joe Donald Butner. He is survived by: his wife Marie Callahan Butner; his daughters, Angela Butner Hunter (Jim Graves), Freda Ann Butner and Thais Butner Black (Randy); his grandchildren, Caroline Steffen (Paul), Carley Mann (Brian), Daniel Arney (Lauren), Callie Pike (Jeff), Edward Hunter (Ashley), Julie Bovair (Cory) and Asya Butner; and his great grandchildren, Hunter, Will, Kendall Steffen, Caroline, Lillian, Katie Rai Mann, Quinn, Avery Hunter, Ardyn Butner, Addisyn, Raygan Arney, Grayson, Jackson, Madison Pike, Jacqueline and Brady Bovair.
