Oakley Eugene Manring Obituary
We are sad to announce that on February 18, 2025, at the age of 90, Oakley Eugene Manring of Tobaccoville, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Oakley departs from this earthly realm, his essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Oakley may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Oakley leaves behind.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Hardin Powell Manring and Hattie Lawson Manring. He is survived by: his wife Mary Manring; his children, Melinda Manring and Ricky Manring; and his nephew Wayne Manring. He is also survived by five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Cox-Needham Funeral Home (822 W Main St, Pilot Mountain, NC 27041). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
