He was predeceased by: his parents, John Johnson and Janie Caudill Johnson; his sister Pauline Walsh (Gary); his niece Loretta McGrady; and his pet Tinkerbell.
He is survived by: his wife Lee Ann Johnson; his daughters, Brenda Ann Johnson of Cartersville, GA and Melissa Ann Deal (Alex) of Randleman; his brothers, Sam Johnson (Brenda), Hobart Johnson (Linda), Larry Johnson and Walter Johnson; his grandchildren, Chelsea Ann Smith (Channon), Bethany Ann Hovis (Michael) and Trevor Deal (Katie); his great grandchildren, Finnegan Maxwell Smith, Scarlett Rose Hovis and Bennett Deal; and his friend Melissa Kirchner. He is also survived by great-grandchildren on the way; several nieces and nephews.
