He was predeceased by: his parents, William Button Sherley and Stella Montgomery Sherley; his daughters, Sue Sherley and Teresa Sherley Iorfida; and his brothers, Raymond Sherley and James Robert Sherley.
He is survived by: his children, Thomas Sherley III (Michelle Marshall), Jonathan Reeves and Clifford Sherley (Amanda); and his grandchildren, Mark Iorfida, Stephanie Pittman, Jasmine Sherley, Leland Sherley and Nora Sherley. He is also survived by six great-grandchildren.
