With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Steve Ollie Garrett of Timberlake, North Carolina, who passed away on September 19, 2020 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Stephen Radford Garrett and Phoebe Anne Hicks Garrett; and his siblings, Billy Radford Garrett, Doris Garrett Patterson, Elizabeth "Lib" Garrett Harris and Emogene "Jean" Garrett Carver.
He is survived by: his wife Elnora "Dickie" Clayton Garrett; his children, Gary Garrett (Daphine) of Sanford, Angie Babinec (Reid) of Durham and Janice Streuli (Tripp) of Greensboro; his siblings, John Mark Garrett, Ray Edward Garrett and June Garrett Bowes; his grandchildren, Will Garrett, Olivia Cardomone (David), Ross Babinec, Russell Babinec (Amber), Garrett Babinec, Justin Streuli (Katie) and Christopher Streuli (Jordan); and his great grandchildren, Ava Kawalski, Kingston Eubanks, Lilliana "Lilly" Cardomone and Emily Cardomone.
