He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Ireson Cooley and Mary Lois "Opal" Ball Cooley; his wife Virginia Brinkley Cooley; his children, Larry Edward Cooley (Judy Morphis Cooley) of Surfside Beach, SC and Lisa Kaye Cooley (Thomas Murphy) of Timberlake; his sister Sandra Cooley Darnell of Clearwater, FL; his grandchildren, Casey Edward Cooley (Lauren), Alison Lynn Cooley and Alexander Lee Cooley; and his great grandchild Brooks Franklin Cooley. He was also cherished by several nieces and nephews.
