She was predeceased by: her parents, Jessie Willard Whitflield and Lessie Carden Whitfield; her husband Melvin Littlejohn; her son Jessie Littlejohn; and her brothers, Lewis William and Ronald Whitfield.
She is survived by: her children, Gary Littlejohn (Donna), Tammy Oakley (Jerry) and Melody Leet (David); and her siblings, Sarah Whitfield, Martha Norris, Florence Cecil (Bill), Nancy Byrd (Pete), Cecil Whitfield, Dwight Whitfield, Tommy Whitfield, Bobby Joe Whitfield and Johnny Whitfield. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.
