She was predeceased by: her parents, Archie Stanfield, Sr. and Ollie Blackwell Stanfield; her husband Willie Charles Battle; and her siblings, Tracy Stanfield, Archie Stanfield, Jr., Lillie Mae Stanfield and Carrie Stanfield Parker.
She is survived by: her sisters, Mary Bernice Stanfield Wells of Roxboro and Margaret Stanfield Jackson of Roxboro. She is also survived by six nieces and two nephews; three great-nieces and four great-nephews; and a host of other loving relatives and friends.
