He is survived by: his wife Kathleen Stanfield Gentry; his son Robin "Rob" Wayne Gentry of Timberlake; his siblings, John Louis Gentry of Norfolk, VA, Bobby Gentry of Hillsborough, Thomas Chambers of Winston-Salem and Pauline G. Carlton of Roxboro; his grandchild Brandy G. Blalock (Brian) of Hurdle Mills; and his great grandchild Lorena Blalock.
