He was predeceased by: his parents, Charlie Bradsher Blalock and Annie Elizabeth Ashley; and his siblings, Cecil Blalock, Bradsher Blalock, James Ronald Blalock, Laura Wrenn, Mary Elizabeth Bean, Margie Dixon and Byrd DesRoche.
He is survived by: his wife Clarious Yarboro Blalock. He is also survived by three nieces.
