It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Martha Ruth Brooks Kirk of Timberlake, North Carolina, who passed away on September 29, 2023, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Hester Brooks and Nellie Brooks; her siblings, Lawrence Brooks and Joyce Carter (Joe); her husband Robert (Bob); her children, Cheryl (Al) of Timberlake and Stacy (Ronnie) of Hillsborough; her grandchildren, Becky (Michael) of South Boston and Kirk (Tonya) of Timberlake; and her great grandchildren, Aubrey (Matthew), Aricka (Spencer), Gavin and Allie.
