She was predeceased by: her parents, Ollie Henry Hicks and Margaret Pendergraft; her son Richard "Ricky" Maynard; and her brothers, Ollie Hicks and Jerry Davis.
She is survived by: her children, Elizabeth Hutchins (Walter) of Roxboro, Lisa Bates of Roxboro and Donald Ray Maynard of Timberlake; her brother Craig Davis (Arlene); and her grandchildren, Colton Bates, Addison Hutchins, Grayson Hutchins and Caleb Hutchins.
