With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Linwood Thomas Ayscue of Timberlake, North Carolina, born in Franklin, North Carolina, who passed away on May 23, 2022 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Nathan Nathaniel Ayscue and Nancy Ann Patterson Ayscue; and his siblings, Owen Ayscue, Lillian "Dut" Baker, Bo Ayscue, Sterling Ayscue and Larry Ayscue.
He is survived by: his wife Joan D. Ayscue; his sons, David Ayscue (Kimberly Lambert) of Timberlake and Johnny Ayscue of Timberlake; his siblings, Wade Ayscue of Henderson, Edna "Sis" Mosley of Henderson, Dorothy Seiple of Henderson, Esther Perkinson of Henderson and Catherine Ellington (Phillip) of Cary; his grandchildren, Josh Ayscue and Kristy Averette (Brandon); his great grandchildren, Ella and Caroline Averette; and his friend Jane Ayscue. He is also survived by his wife and a loving father of his two sons.
