She was predeceased by: her parents, Clyde Hall Berry and Alma Harris Berry; her husband Alfred; and her siblings, Carl and Jean Berry Ashley.
She is survived by: her children, Al Snipes (Alice) and Amy Galloway (Bill); her grandsons, Evan Snipes (Sarah), David Galloway (Jen) and Brian Galloway (Kate); her great grandchildren, Nate Turner, Addy Turner, Charlotte Galloway and Jack Galloway; her siblings, Wilma Berry Foushee and Bill Berry; and her sister-in-law Bonnie. She is also survived by in-laws, nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Sunday, February 2nd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Berry's Grove Baptist Church (9628 Berry Pearce Rd, Timberlake, NC 27583). A celebration of life was held on Sunday, February 2nd 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
