He is survived by: his children, Victoria Short (Jerry) of Germantown, MD, Elder Patrick Royster (Crystal) of Frederick, MD and Pastor James Preston Royster (Nicole) of Welcome, MD; and his siblings-in-law, Lilia Thorpe of Roxboro, Mildred Speed (Nelson) of Timberlake, Shirley Royster, John Harris (Rebecca) and James Ragland (Gertie). He is also survived by twelve granddaughters; seven grandsons; five great-granddaughters; six great-grandsons; and a host of other additional relatives and friends.
