She was predeceased by: her parents, Willie Allen and Zula Elizabeth Parrish Allen; her husband Joe Ragland; and her brothers, James Parrish, Fred Parrish, John Allen and Ira Allen.
She is survived by: her children, Calvin Allen (Lydia) of Morristown and Eleanor Ragland Yellock (Terry) of Hurdle Mills; her granddaughters, Brittany Ragland of Roxboro, Shadia and Lexia Allen of Morristown; her great grandchildren, Charity and Chase Ragland of Roxboro; her sister Mildred Allen of Durham; and her sisters-in-law, Hazel Moore of Hurdle Mills and Catherine Ragland of Hurdle Mills. She is also survived by nieces, nephews and other loving relatives and friends.
