She was predeceased by: her parents, William Everette Hicks and Gladys Maxey Hicks; her husband Fred Edgar Bowers; her son Chris Allen Bowers; and her siblings, Juanita Royal, William Hicks, Jr., Thomas Hicks, Edna Sidden, Barbara Bennett and Henry Hicks, Sr..
She is survived by: her sons, Jeffrey Bowers (Milton Ilario) of Argyle, NY and Gary Bowers (Allison) of Timberlake; her sister Mary Hutchinson (Jimmy Ray) of Traphill; her grandsons, Christopher Allen Bowers (Carrie) of Timberlake and Jacob Scott Bowers (Erika) of Timberlake; and her great grandchildren, Isac Bowers, Allen Bowers and Harper Bowers. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
