He was predeceased by: his parents, Lonnie Blalock and Jennie Painter Blalock; his wife Wilma Lee Wade Blalock; and his siblings, Coy Blalock, Bunnie Blalock, Lennie Jackson Blalock, Earl Blalock, Alice Blalock and Frankie Lee Lunsford.
He is survived by: his children, David Blalock (Judy) of Roxboro, Samuel "Sammy" Blalock (Clara) of Timberlake, Brenda B. Averette of Richmond, VA, Pam B. Day (Bradley) of Roxboro and Randall Blalock (Greta); and his sisters, Pallie Jane Cothran of Timberlake and Wilah Ree Satterfield (Freddie) of Hillsborough.
