With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Danny Spurgeon Denny of Timberlake, North Carolina, who passed away on August 4, 2023 at the age of 73. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his father Rufus Spurgeon; and his siblings, Rufus Nelson "Ike" Denny, Johnny Thaxton Denny and Carolyn Denny Perkins. He is survived by: his wife Rita Cash Denny; his children, Scot Brooks (Kelli), Kevin Denny (Brooke), Chris Denny (Katie) and Cindi Denny Cole; his sister Darlene O'Brien (Curt); his grandchildren, Layne Cole, Kynlee Brooks, Kaiden Denny, Khloe Denny, Anniston Denny, Rylin Brooks, Charlotte Denny and Katherine Denny; his nephew Emory Brooks (Emily); and also Riggins.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Helena Methodist Church, 290 Helena Moriah Road, Timberlake, NC 27583.
