She was predeceased by: her parents, Russ Greenwood and Lessie Watson Yarboro; her husband Melvin Leroy Blalock; and her siblings, Edward Yarboro of Marshall Yarboro, R. G, Yarboro, Jr., Ruby Martin, Mary Frances Clayton and Eglantene Long.
She is survived by: her sisters, Shelby Dixon of Hurdle Mills, Hilda Seamster of Roxboro and Kay Blackard of Timberlake. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and extended family.
