We are sad to announce that on February 7, 2019, at the age of 81, Barbara Ann Skirtish Bland (Timberlake, North Carolina), born in Farmington, West Virginia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her sisters, Joann Mallamo, Cecelia Slaughter and Joyce Skirtish; her husband Louis Merle Bland; her daughter Barbara Harris (Erik); her grandchildren, Bryan, Courtney of Brownsburg, IN, Carol Walters of Henderson, NC, Danielle Whitbey of Killeen, TX and Ashley Walters; and her great grandchild Coraline Whitbey.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to the Hock Family Pavilion Duke Homecare Hospice, 4023 North Roxboro Road, Durham, NC 27704.
