She was predeceased by: her parents, Adeline L. Bowden and Robert Avola; and her son Glenn Avola. She is survived by: her daughters, Gina Brewer (Robert) of Hillsborough, NC and Jodi Gemmer (Robert) of Greenville; her grandchildren, Brittany Avola and Alyssa Brewer; and her brother Edward Roche.
