It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Vetril Holbrook of Thurmond, North Carolina, who passed away on February 2, 2021, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Loton Samuel Adams and Dossie Luffman Adams; her husband Leroy Bryce Holbrook; her siblings, Mary Gentry and Sandy Adams; her niece Terry Collins; her nephew Alton Gentry; her great-nephew Mark Absher; and her daughter-in-law Cathy Jenkins Holbrook.
She is survived by: her children, Bryce Holbrook and Susie Holbrook; her grandchildren, Sheila Holbrook Price (Cameron) and Caleb Holbrook; and her sisters, Nonnie Collins and Virginia Crews (Tom).
Due to COVID restrictions, the family requests all attendees wear a mask and practice social distancing.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Gid Branch Baptist Church, 11001 Haystack Road, Thurmond, NC 28683.
