He was predeceased by: his parents, Ned Bush and Sarah Lewis Bush; his brother Phillip Bush; his uncles, Tim Lewis and Bob Lewis; and his aunt Jane Bumgarner.
He is survived by: his daughters, Davia Sweat (Anthony) of Roaring River and Priscilla Mayes (Mark) of Elkin; his siblings, Mark Bush (Jamie) of Lenoir, Randall Lewis (Betty) of West Jefferson and Debbie Keysley of Lenoir; his former wife Priscilla Bhati (Ravi) of Thurmond; his grandchildren, Destiny Mayes (Tyler), Alexus Swaim, Mark Mayes, Ethan Swaim, Sage Norman and Katie Sweat; his great grandchild Hayden Hudson; his aunt Linda Lewis; and his close friend Angel (Ken Harris). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
A funeral service was held on Wednesday, January 22nd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Elkin Funeral Service Chapel (560 North Carolina 268 W, Elkin, NC 28621).
