It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Melissa Spicer Stanley of Thurmond, North Carolina, who passed away on May 18, 2021, at the age of 46, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Timothy Charles Stanley; and her son Scottie Ruffin Kennedy, Jr.. She is survived by: her parents, Steve Spicer and Peggy Cheek Spicer; her daughters, Lora Spicer Adams (Aaron Jacob) and Elizabeth Dawn Spicer; her grandmother Nina Cheek; and her sisters, Tammy Macemore (Drake), Stephanie Stoltzfus (Aden) and Carrie Dunn (William). She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
