It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Linda Jean Thomas of Thurmond, North Carolina, who passed away on January 1, 2023, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Linville Walker and Ella Mary Anderson Walker; her husband Henry Lee Thomas; her daughter Barbara Faye Thomas; and her son-in-law Bentley Blackburn.
She is survived by: her daughters, Ella Jean Thomas Blackburn of Roaring River and Teresa Thomas Bennett (Dwayne) of Jonesville; her siblings, Lorene Whitlow (Dean McClure) of Florida, Libby Church of Winston Salem, Sue Kundid (Mark) of Florida, Larry Walker (Karen) of Thurmond and Johnny Walker (Angie) of State Road; and her niece Leona Myers. She is also survived by 6 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be given to Macedonia Baptist Church, 1120 Austin Little Mountain Church Road, Ronda, NC 28670.
