It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Larry Rector of Thurmond, North Carolina, who passed away on March 25, 2023, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Durward Rector and Reba Marsh Rector; his son Glenn Rector; and his half-brother Don Ray Rector. He is survived by: his wife Daisy Wolfe Rector; his sons, Larry Michael Rector (Gayle) of Limestone and Lane Rector (Denise) of State Road; his daughter-in-law Tiffany Rector of State Road; his half-siblings, Earnest J. Rector and Doris Lee Smith; his grandchildren, Alisa M. Rector, Anthony M. Rector, Kelsey Singh and Ashlen Rector; and his stepgranddaughters, Christa L. Mattoon and Megan Morrison. He is also survived by six step-great-grandchildren.
