She was predeceased by: her parents, Elder Guy R. and Annie Bateman Cox; her husband Ira; and her siblings, Billy Cox of Warren Cox, R. A, Cabell Cox, Blanche Brown and LaVerne Cox.
She is survived by: her daughters, Priscilla Parker (Jim) of Sparta and Jeannette Hendrick (Frank) of Elkin; her grandchildren, Christy Carter (James), Jamie Wood (Terry), Denise Felts (Toby) and Elizabeth Bryant (Garrett); her great grandchildren, Jim Carter, Will Felts, Darbey Wood, Gabe Wood, Katie Carter and Lilly Felts; and her siblings, Sylvia Key (Danny) and Tim Cox (Debbie).
The family requests all in attendance please wear a mask.
