She was predeceased by: her parents, Charlie Lyles and Virgie Mae Isaacs Lyles; and her husband Rev. Dennis Sexton. She is survived by: her brother Wayne Lyles (Jenny) of State Road; her nephews, Michael Lyles (Melissa) of Statesville, Jaysun Lyles (Lisa) of Marion, Hayley Taylor Kehler (Daniel), Salem-Grace Lyles, Courtney Taylor and Wynston Lyles; her pet Brownie; her aunt Flora Hayes; her cousin Becky Bray; and her friends, Judy Callaway, Audrey and Jeff Childress.

Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to the Joan and Howard Woltz Hospice Home, 945 Zephyr Rd., Dobson, NC 27017.
