He was predeceased by: his parents, Dollie Reece and Roxie Jane Spicer Cox; his wife Mary Magdalene Cox; and his sister Tessie Spicer. He is survived by: his children, Verona (Doug Danley), Lois (Johnathan Everidge), James Henry (Carolyn Cox), Roy Clifton Cox (Denise Reeves) and David Grey (Tanya Cox); his grandchildren, Melvin, Christine Cox, Katie, Michael Knodel, Jean Longworth, Terry, Lana Longworth, Jerry, Dena Longworth, Greyson Cox, Candra Chriscoe, Mikayla, Preston Harris, Valerie, Ricky Johnson, James Everidge, Ashley and Mark Van Hoy; his sister Irene Norman; and his brother-in-law James Spicer. He is also survived by seventeen great grandchildren; and fourteen great great grandchildren.
