He is survived by: his children, Randy Whitman (Joyce) of Thurmond and Robbin Obomsawin of New York; and his siblings, Gerald Whitman (Patricia) of Virginia, Terry Whitman of New Mexico, Barbara Doolen (Sam) of Arkansas, Winifred Windcliff (John), Bonnie Swartz of New Mexico, Sandra Eids (Dave) of Washington and Dawn Wunderlich (Curt) of Pennsylvania. He is also survived by seven grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
