He is survived by: his wife Betty Cheek; his children, Chancey Nathaniel Cheek, Dustin Butcher (Jamie) of Winston-Salem, Cassa Cheek Murzin (James) of North Wilkesboro and Brandie Butcher (Tim Maher) of Jonesville; his brother Reggie Cheek (Peggy) of Jonesville; and his grandchildren, Landan, Dawson, Madison, Zeb, Kaitlynne, Kourtey, Kamryn, Kendall and Kaleb.
