He was predeceased by: his parents, Zeb Vance Hanner and Margie Sechrist Hanner; his wife Dorothy Brewer Hanner; his daughter-in-law Tammy Hanner; and his sisters, Emma Skeen and Dorothy Eddinger.
He is survived by: his sons, Zeb M. Hanner (Charlesanna) of Thomasville, Steve Hanner of Thomasville and Ken Hanner (Charlotte) of Thomasville; his grandchildren, Dawn Chmielewski (Greg), Vance Hanner (Cheryl), Erin Garrison (Ian), Allen Hanner (Elaine), Erin Shew (David), Evan Hanner (Alexandra) and Ryan Hanner (Paulina); and his great grandchildren, Austin, Carlie, Rachel, Lauren, Caroline, Layla, Vivian, Gillian and Reese. He is also survived by several extended family and friends.
