He was predeceased by: his parents, George Franklin Douglas and Parana Bullard Douglas; his siblings, Paul Douglas, Allen Douglas, Brantley Douglas, Floyd Douglas and Virginia Dare Douglas; and his great grandchild Nathan Euliss.
He is survived by: his wife Eileen Hite Douglas; his children, Kathy Euliss (Michael) of Winston-Salem, Cheryl Love (William) of Browns Summit and Gerald Payne of High Point; his siblings, George F. Douglas, Jr. of Laurinburg, Helen Ward (Les) of Laurel Hill, NC, Joann Vanhoy (Grady) of Aberdeen, NC and Christine Douglas of Duluth, GA; his grandchildren, William Love (Lisa), David Euliss (Emily), Steven Love, Sarah Darnell (Dusty) and Taylor Euliss; and his great grandchildren, William Nicolas Love, Paul Euliss, Joshua Euliss, Hazel Euliss and Maddox Darnell. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, as well as many great nieces and great nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to Open Door Ministries of High Point and Hospice of High Point.
