She was predeceased by: her mother Tillie Floyd Collins Harmon; her daughter Sandra Gales Lambeth; and her siblings, Carley Collins, Hubert Collins, Ruby Davis, Virginia Heath and Josephine Clemmons.

She is survived by: her son Bobby Gales, Jr. (Ann); her grandchildren, Bobby Gales III (Jerri), Jessica Nickels (Chris), Mary Gales, Jason Lambeth (Tiffany) and Brooke Lambeth; and her sister Lema Lewter. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Memorials may be directed to Southside Baptist Church, Thomasville.
