He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Daisy Ann Grant; his children, Cheryl Whitaker (Johnny) of Thomasville and Travis Grant (April) of Trinity; his grandchildren, Greg Whitaker of Thomasville, Tera Whitaker (Zack Staley) of Lexington, Bri Turner (Brian) of Clemmons and Sebastian Grant of Lexington; and his siblings, James Grant, Wanda McMahan, Phyllis Roger, Connetha Womack, Debbie Hoffman, Carnel Walker, Ruth "Pless" Rizzie and Connie.
