It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Waldo Hammonds of Thomasville, North Carolina, who passed away on June 8, 2022, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his father William Spurgeon Hammonds; and his son William Henry Hammonds. He is survived by: his wife Linda Ashburn Hammonds; his children, Isaac Hammonds (Amanda) of Greensboro and Crystal Kindley (Glenn) of Thomasville; his brothers, Jesse Hammonds (Barbara) of Thomasville and Wayne Hammonds (Joan) of Denton; and his grandchildren, Cody Hammonds, Brittany Dills (Ed), Brian Hammonds, Allison Wray and Grace Hammonds.
