It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Thomas Anthony Cannon (Thomasville, North Carolina), who passed away on February 13, 2025, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Thomas may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Thomas touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Cannon and Lillian "Jenny" Cannon. He is survived by: his children, Toni Bowers (Brian) of Pendleton, SC and Ty Cannon of High Point; his grandchildren, Leanne Williams (Scot) and Casey Bowers; the mother of his children Teresa Hinkle; and his brother John Cannon (Julia "Judy" Cox) of Thomasville. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Sunday, February 16th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the J. C. Green and Sons Funeral Home (122 W Main St, Thomasville, NC 27360). A funeral service was held on Sunday, February 16th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Monday, February 17th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Holly Hill Memorial Park Cemetery (401 W Holly Hill Rd, Thomasville, NC 27360).
