With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Teddy Ard of Thomasville, North Carolina, born in Florence, South Carolina, who passed away on June 28, 2020 at the age of 74. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Joye and Kathleen Joye; his wife Emma Norris Ard; and his stepson Danny Skipper. He is survived by: his stepdaughters, Kathy Campbell (Kenny), Jean Banks (Chip) and Cindy Skipper; his brother Bill Joye; and his grandchildren, Robbie George (Janet), Christy Gibson (Ken), Shane Stevenson (Lindsay), Jamie Stevenson (Audrey), Angie Casto (Mike), Brandi Herman (Chris), Jason Cox and Jodie Hammonds. He is also survived by great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
