She was predeceased by: her parents, James Daniel "J. D." and Zorada Lee Russell Cagle; her husband James Renfrow "Bud" Ward; and her siblings, Lloyd Cagle, Wayne Cagle, Joe Don Cagle, Lucille Gibson, Bud Cagle and Rusty Cagle.

She is survived by: her children, James Daniel "Danny" Ward (Teresa) of Thomasville and Mary Kay Ward; her grandchildren, Lauren Jones (Barry), Kathryn Jordan, John Ward and Cameron Estridge; her great grandchildren, Bailey Jones, Brooke Jones, Gage Owenby, Gracee Owenby and Gray Owenby; and her siblings, Lalah Kennedy and Jack Cagle. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family.

Memorials may be given to Hospice of Davidson County.
