She was predeceased by: her parents, Darrell Cathcart and Jean Curtis Reece; her husband Dennis Michael Johnson; and her sister Ronda Maynard. She is survived by: her children, Tabitha Johnson of Thomasville and Dennis Johnson, II of Thomasville; her brother Chris Cathcart of Georgia; and her grandchildren, Samuel Hester and Lillian Radford.
