She was predeceased by: her parents, Charlie Griffie and Flora Bean Griffie; her husband David Marshall Eddinger; her son William Bryce Eddinger (Chum); and her siblings, Grover Griffie, Clyde Griffie, Raymond Griffie, Lelia Griffie, Sallie Mae Greer, Allene Paris, Frank Don Griffie, Peggy Lohr and Buddy Griffie.
She is survived by: her children, Kathy Marie Embry of Thomasville, Teresa Lynn Eddinger (Patricia Brintle) of Thomasville and David Wayne Eddinger (Marjorie) of Bahama, NC; her grandchildren, Bobbie Norton, Kenneth Comer, Lyle Schlacks and Nina Schlacks Esteff; her great grandchildren, Haydin Davis, Leevi Kirby and Dalton Comer; and her nieces, Darlene Pipkin, Elizabeth Taylor and Marietta Gunter.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be directed to Hospice of Davidson County, 200 Hospice Way, Lexington, NC 27292.
