It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Samuel Robbins Jr. in Thomasville, North Carolina, born in Statesville, North Carolina, who passed away on January 26, 2021, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Samuel Aldeen Robbins, Sr. and Cora Vallama Wright Robbins; his sisters, Virginia Harrington (Cyrus Robert) and Georgie Beck (Cletus); and his niece Priscilla Beck Cecil.
He is survived by: his wife Anne Vaughan Bell of Suffolk; his daughters, Dena Ford (Jim) of Harrisburg and Sara Cole (Bob) of Concord; his grandchildren, Matt Cole (Katie), Keyser Ford Shore (Tim), Erin Cole Wyke (Hunter) and JT Ford; and his great grandchildren, Isla, Vada Cole, Statham Shore and Parker Leigh Wyke.
