He is survived by: his child Patsy Ann Wheeler of High Point; his former wife Diane Hubbard Cochran of Kernersville; his children, Samuel Edward Cochran, II of Thomasville and Tammy Sue Cochran Davis of High Point; his siblings, James "Bug" Cochran (Shirley) of Martinsville, VA, Naomi "Onnie" Krishock (Robert) of Sterling, VA, Kathy Shafer (Greg) of Princeton, WV and Evelyn Ragan of Bluefield, WV; and his grandchildren, Benjamin Davis, Brian Keith Cochran and Alexis J. Buckner.
