It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sally Lou Rorex of Thomasville, North Carolina, who passed away on February 4, 2025, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Floyd and Bertha Floyd; her husband George Rorex; her son Doyle Clinton Rorex; her daughter-in-law Rebecca "Becky" Rorex; and her siblings, Douglas Floyd and Mae Elise Cecil.
She is survived by: her daughter Mitzi McDaniel (Marc); her grandsons, Drew Rorex (Jen) and Matthew Rorex (Carrie); her great grandchildren, Caroline, Davis and Anna Beth; and her siblings, Henry Floyd and Betty Jo Brooks.
Visitation was held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Sechrest-Davis Funerals & Cremations (18 Randolph St, Thomasville, NC 27360). A funeral service was held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
