It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ruth Adams of Thomasville, North Carolina, who passed away on January 10, 2025, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Ruth Adams to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ivey Edward Lineberry and Edna Louise Luck Lineberry; her husband Ricky Adams; her children, Ruth Ann Kearns and Billy Kearns; and her brothers, Wayne, David, Eddie and Ray Lineberry.
She is survived by: her daughter Tammy Kearns; her sisters, Dianne Westmoreland, Edith Kearns and Carol Scott (Barry); and her grandchildren, Bryan Kearns (Holly), Derek Kearns (J. D.), Alisha Kearns, Cody Kearns and Chris Ponce (Natalie). She is also survived by several great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Ridge Funeral Home & Cremation Service (908 Albemarle Rd, Asheboro, NC 27203). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Mountain View Church of Asheboro (1530 Mt View Church Rd, Asheboro, NC 27205).
