She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry Binford Richardson and Myrtle Smith Richardson; and her brother James Richardson. She is survived by: her husband Joseph Pierce; her daughter Karen Dutton (Deron Everhart) of Thomasville; her sisters, Helen Hobbs (Ed) of Kernersville, Louise Jones (Bo) of Jamestown, Judy Hiatt (David) of Winston-Salem and Juanita Parker (Thomas) of Wilmington; and her grandchildren, Mads Dutton, Bailey Dutton and Carey Everhart.
