We are sad to announce that on June 2, 2024, at the age of 76, Ronald Wayne Stroup of Thomasville, North Carolina, born in Shelby, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Carl Ray Stroup and Evelyn Rae Jones Stroup. He is survived by : his wife Ann Olsen Stroup; his sons, Ronald Wayne "Chip" Stroup (Kissie) of High Point and Craig Olsen Stroup (Tammy) of Thomasville; his grandchildren, Christine Watkins (Justin), Kathryn Stroup, Tyler Stroup (Emily), Elizabeth Wilson (Daniel) and Jackson Stroup; his great grandchildren, Norah, Jameson, Zoe, Lainey, Margot, Levi and Lillian; his sister Carla Stroup Gambrell (Ron) of Seneca, SC; his brother-in-law Don Olsen (Hermine); and his pet Spencer. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers the family request that memorials be given to Shady Grove Global Methodist Church, Youth Ministry, 167 Shady Grove Church Road, Winston-Salem, NC 27107 or Every Age Foundation to Benefit Piedmont Crossing, 100 Hedrick Drive, Thomasville, NC 27360.
