He was predeceased by: his parents, William "Bud" Hockett and Jretta Hockett; his son Eric Wayne Hockett; his grandson Hunter Wayne Hockett; and his sister Sue Crotts.
He is survived by: his fiancée Peggy Griggs; his son Corey Wayne Hockett (Chrissy) of Lexington; his grandson Luke Hockett; his nephews, Chris Davis (Mandy) and Dustin Crotts; his fiancée's children, Donnie Batten and Janice Batten; and also, Harrison, Karrington and Kinsleigh.
