He was predeceased by: his parents, Cleveland Harris and Frances Tickle Harris; his wife Alice Mangum Harris; and his daughter Frances Christine Harris. He is survived by: his children, Deborah Bentz (Bruce) of Fort Bragg, CA and Robert Lee Harris, Jr. of Salisbury, NC; his brothers, Billy Joe Harris (Daisey) of Greensboro, NC and Donald Harris; his grandson Gregory Michael Bentz of Mather, CA; and his great grandchildren, Cooper Bentz and Marshall Bentz of Mather, CA..
